We do the quilting part.
You bring us your top and your backing, we stitch it together for you. You are welcome to provide your own batting, or we have 6 different choices of batting in the shop. If you are looking for wide backing, we are in the same building as Cinnamon's Quilt Shop, so you can dash over there and pick up a backing.
We have two Statler (computerized) Gammill Stitchers with over 12, 000 designs to choose from. Don't worry - we narrow them down for you as we check in your quilt. We also have hundreds of thread colors.
We charge 2.5 cents per square inch. Measure the length x the width of your quilt, multiply by .025, and there's your quilting charge. So, a 60"x80" quilt would be: 60x80 = 4800 square inches, x.025 = $120.00 for the quilting. (Please note: that price is only for quilting. It doesn't include the batting cost, or any prep/repair work you'd like us to do for you.) There is no additional charge for thread (unless you choose a variegated thread: there is a flat $5.00 charge for that).
Our turn-around time is usually less than 2 weeks, often less than a week. And best of all? We have chocolate.
